What is the Power-saving function (PS function)?
Power-saving function is a function that forcibly stops discharging by inputting an external signal to the PS pin and greatly reduces the current consumption of the IC. By setting into power saving mode before shipping, it is possible to reduce battery consumption and prevent deep discharge during the inventory period. The conditions for entering and exiting PS mode are defined by the duration of active signal input to the PS pin and the VM pin voltage level. For detailed conditions, please refer to the data sheet of each product ”■ Operation - 6. Power saving function".
