A switching regulator (DC-DC converter) is a regulator (stabilized power supply), and can convert input direct current (DC) voltage to the desired direct current (DC) voltage. In an electronic device, a switching regulator takes the role of converting the voltage from a battery or other power source to the voltages required by subsequent systems.
ABLIC's switching regulators are available in both step-down (buck) and step-up (boost) types and feature low-voltage operation from 0.9V, high-speed response, and high efficiency. Furthermore, we also provide products such as ultra-high-efficiency step-down regulators with industry's top class ultra-low current consumption of 260nA, as well as products with a supply voltage divided output that divides the battery voltage.
