An automotive Hall effect IC, which combines a Hall element and an operational amplifier, can distinguish magnetic poles using a single IC. It is used to detect whether windows and doors are open or closed, as well as for purposes such as detecting vehicle height, speed, and the number of motor rotations.
ABLIC's automotive magnetic sensor ICs (Hall effect ICs) offer multiple detection methods, including ZCL, the world's first* detection method, as well as bipolar detection, unipolar detection, and omnipolar detection. They also feature high-temperature operation up to 150°C, high speed, high-withstand voltage, and an ultra-thin package with a maximum thickness of 0.5mm.
Moreover, our automotive Hall effect ICs are AEC-Q100 qualified and PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) capable. This ensures high quality and reliability, making them suitable for safety critical components such as EPS motors and auxiliary motors in 48V MHEV. We also support customers' automotive application designs through our "magnetic simulation service," which provides the ideal combination of magnets and our Hall effect ICs for their systems.
