An automotive connection diagnosis IC is an IC that diagnoses and protects the connection status (normal, short to power, short to ground) of automotive cameras, antennas, and various sensors.
ABLIC's automotive connection diagnosis ICs include ICs that integrate not only connection diagnosis and protection but also a power supply into a single chip, depending on the application. These ICs support operation at 125°C and are available in a compact 2.0 × 3.0mm package or a high heat dissipation TO-252-5S package. Furthermore, they feature a wide range of functions, including an ON/OFF circuit, a thermal shutdown circuit, an overvoltage detection circuit, and an undervoltage lockout function (UVLO).
Moreover, our automotive connection diagnosis ICs are AEC-Q100 qualified and PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) capable. This ensures high quality and reliability, making them suitable for automotive cameras, TCUs, as well as safety-critical components such as EPS motors and traction inverters. We also support customers' automotive application designs through the provision of FIT rate.
