Integrating a spread spectrum clock generation circuit (*1) and housed in the industry's smallest (*2) package, it is ideally suited to advanced automotive camera modules
ABLIC Inc. (President: Nobumasa Ishiai, head office: Minato-ku, Tokyo, hereinafter “ABLIC”) today launched the S-19914/5 Series of low EMI step-down switching regulators for automotive use.
The new product launched today, the S-19914/5 Series is a step-down switching regulator with low EMI and integrates a spread spectrum clock generation circuit(*1) that reduces the conducted emission and radiated emission generated by the IC. Specifically, it reduces conducted emission to 1/3 of our previous model. The S-19914/5 Series is housed in the industry's smallest (*2) HSNT-8(2030) package (2.0 x 3.0 x t0.5mm) making it a product that will contribute to the downsizing of camera modules and meet the current market need for automotive devices.
Moreover, it is PPAP (Production Part Approval Process)-capable and also meets the AEC(*)-Q100 Grade1 (* Automotive Electronics Council) quality standard for automotive ICs.
(*1) Technology for adjusting the oscillation frequency to suppress emission peaks generated by specific frequencies (for example, 2.2MHz or higher frequencies).
(*2) A DC-DC converter with 36V operation and 1A output. Based on our research, as of May 2021
