Motor Types | Recommended ABLIC Hall effect ICs |
---|---|
Ultra-small motors | S-57M1 SeriesThe S-57M1 Series is a bipolar Hall effect latch IC housed in an ultra-compact surface mounted SNT-4 package for high-density mounting. With a drive frequency of 50µs (typ.) and a current consumption of 1.4mA (typ.), they are ideal for compact, slow rotating motors. |
High-speed motors | S-576B B SeriesThe S-576B B Series is a series of bipolar Hall effect latch ICs housed in an ultra-thin surface mounted package. With a chopping frequency of 500kHz, they can be used for motors rotating at high speed. There are two types, one housed in a 0.8mm (max.) high TSOT-23-3S package and the other housed in a 0.5mm (max.) high HSNT-6(2025) package, both ideal for thin motors. |
High-efficiency, high-speed motors | S-576Z B SeriesThe S-576Z B Series is a series of ICs specially designed for control of BLDC motors. Using ZCL detection methodology, the IC changes the output signal at the point where polarity changes (the zero-crossing point) and can therefore provide stable detection unaffected by magnetic flux changes. With the same chopping frequency of 500kHz as the aforementioned S-576B Series, these ICs are offered in two different lineups, either housed in a TSOT-23-3S or an HSNT-6 (2025) package to enable motors with even greater efficiency. |
Wide temperature operation motors | S-576Z R SeriesThe S-576Z R Series is a series of ZCL Hall effect latch ICs with a wide operation temperature range of -50°C to 150°C. They are built to offer stable operation and durability in harsh environments, such as very cold or very hot regions. They are ideal for motors used in outdoor infrastructure equipment. |
Automotive, high-speed motors | S-57RB S SeriesThe S-57RB S Series is a series of AEC-Q100 grade 0 qualified automotive bipolar Hall effect latch ICs. With a chopping frequency of 500kHz, they can be used for motors rotating at high speed. There are two types, one housed in a 0.8mm (max.) high TSOT-23-3S package and the other housed in a 0.5mm (max.) high HSNT-6(2025) package, both ideal for thin automotive motors in the ongoing electrification of automobiles. |
Automotive, high-efficiency, high-speed motors | S-57TZ S SeriesThe S-57TZ S Series is a series of AEC-Q100 grade 0 qualified automotive ZCL Hall effect latch ICs. These ICs change the output signal at the point where polarity changes (the zero-crossing point) and can therefore provide stable detection unaffected by magnetic flux changes. With a chopping frequency of 500kHz, these ICs are offered in two different lineups, either housed in a TSOT-23-3S or an HSNT-6 (2025) package. These ICs are designed to create automotive motors with ever greater efficiency. |
